WebJul 30, 2004 · If its an FE, the casting numbers won't tell you the displacement. If the stroke is 3.5 its a 352; 3.78 its a 390 or a 427. The 427 will have cross bolt mains. Steve Christ's book is good, but the casting number charts for FE are total crap. There are numbers on that list that never existed. WebApr 20, 2007 · I have a 351W casting #D4AE-6015-AA2 for sale. I belive it is out of an automobile due to the "AE" part of the casting number which means Auto Engine. I have no idea how many miles are on it.
